went facial today! it was freaking painful!! and after the facial, i realise how cui face was. freaking lots of pimples and blackheads =( while facialing, i overhead a lady beside me saying pimples are caused by stress, lack of water and not enough sleep. guess from today onwards, i will drink lots of water and slp early!!! well, stress is something inevitable, so suck it up! got to live with it.

after facial went malaysia with my army buddies!! went to city square to have some snack before heading to new lucky resturant which is situated at Tambre??? forget how it pronounce. hahaha. we order like 8 dishes which includes fish and prawns! guess what, each of us only pay S$15!!! damn! malaysia standard of living is low compare to singapore. guess next time must retire there liaooo. the food is cheap, house is cheap, transport is cheap and entertainment is also cheap!!! man, living in singapore is sooo stressful =(

IT WAS A FUN FILLED DAY YESTERDAY!!!!!

went down early to celebrate keryn 20th birthday. Keryn!! if you see this post, you are 20 year old liaoooo. noooo =( hahahahahha!! btw, jess cheesecake is totally awesome!!! and nic totally wasted a piece of it buy throwing it onto keryn face. but tt act was awesome too!! hahahahha!!

then went for salsa danceee! learn 2 new moves but i think i forgetten them already. i think i need a alot alot of practice because i realised i have some coordination problems and just dont know which way to spin a lady. lol.

then head down to double O. the place is freaking ulu. the club wasn't crowded but the drinks were damn cheap!! $3.50 per shots $14 for jugs... so when the drinks were these cheap, you tend to order more and more and MORE!!!! and when you get real high, you just dance and dance and DANCE!! totally awesome night with lots of dacing!!! hahahahahahah!!

totally wondering if i can survive till next year. or maybe the next 3years!!! need motivate myself and push myself further and beyond the limit!!

yea. today is my last day being an insurance agent.
to put in effort in insurance and studies is very difficult and tiring. also, putting effort in insurance get me no where. thus, i think i should give up on insurance and spend more time studying and hopefully i can earn a good degree.
of course, leaving like that is sad but i have got no choice.
but it is definitely a good experience being a agent. i learn a lot of insurance stuffs both life and general. i learn some closing tactics, communication and investments.
maybe, after i graduate, i may work as an agent again. hahahahaha!

my first day of school after 2years!

suppose to wake up at 6am but i press the snooze button and continue to sleep. i didnt realise that i am a student now!! wake up at 7am and totally rushed for school. luckily, the bus took me 45min to reach school!

is my maths lesson today and i think i am struggling to understand and keeping myself awake!! shit! i want my honours!! ROAR!

anyway, after lesson lunch with my FOD mates at NP and slack at SIM benches. watched harold and kumar. it is like watching porn in the middle of the school! FRIENDS!! lets meet up for breakfast and lunch every monday to keep the monday blues away!! =)

its 22nd of aug!! meaning to say.... its school tmr!! oh nooooo. hope my brain can cope well=x

last friday was totally an awesome day. haven had so much fun before! went malaysia for some ass shooting paintball with my FOC awesome mates! is totally addictive to squeeze the trigger! the place was so cheap. we spent like SG$40 the whole day which includes the paintball, cab fares, food at some hong kong restaurant, desserts and movie!!!!

yesterday went back to office for business insurance briefing! it is painfully loooong! 10 to 5pm! but they shared some of the stories - failures and success, which some how make me really want to push myself forward to do better so as to show gratitude towards them.

recently morale freaking low. no motivation to work at all.

tues slept till 12pm and dragged myself to work.

wed slept till 1pm and dragged myself to work.
but my director actually noticed the lack of motivation and interest and asked me into his office that night.
we talked like at least 2hours plus plus. i shared with him how and why i feel that way and he shared with me his past experiences. i think he is really a great leader. he has great listening ears and motivate agents. yes. i was slightly motivated by him. the main part will come from myself. if i have a wrong mental attitude, i will not succeed even the whole world is helping me. but if i have a right mental attitude, not on earth will stop me from being successful!!

why i feel that way?
perhaps the results i got from it is very bad. friends start to criticise my career as an insurance agent and i have a never-stop-nagging mum. freak man. can they all just shut up!?

tomorrow i am going malaysia for some ass shooting paintball with my orientation awesome friends!!! gonna enjoy myself before starting school which is like 3 more days?!? omg...

last week was kinda happening as well.

went to dance practise on tuesday then later that night went to en motion dance studio at tanjong pagar. it was my first time to the dance studio. the dancers there were awesomely good! they had very nice dance moves and they danced very gracefully. i am soooo inspired to be like them after watching them danced. of course, i did dance over there too but for like awhile cos i only know limited moves. met a new dance friend there and she is really very helpful! she from SIM salsa too!

then on wednesday, went clubbing with my salsa friends at butterfactory. partied till the club closed which is like at 3am?! damn early. is a whole new experience. clubbing in salsa style! lol. its totally good to be a lady. free entry plus free flow of alcohol!!

thursday had my dance practise again. learned and improved on my dance steps. went to dine with salsa friend and reached home late night.

friday went to watch street dance! i think the movie is totally awesome though the story line is kinda standard. very nice fusion of hip hop and ballet. the lead actress is pretty!! lol. went chomp chomp after that to eat SEAFOOD! my favourites there are the shellfishes and stingray!!

saturday went clubbing again at zouk! expensive entry fee cheap alcohol. 2 bottles of vodka from holiday inn cost us only like 90bucks! drank and then go freeeeaking high! took super uber unglam pics and do really stupid things. in the club, saw this angmo couple. think they are totally damn high cos they are like flaunting at least 3 sex positions near the podium!! of course they had their clothes on. but the guy, seriously 'banging' his gf all night long! lol. even the bouncer cant be bother to stop them. lol. partied till like the club closed!

mannn! the whole week i think i spend about 300bucks! lol. and its totally an unhealthy week! sleep late like every single day and got so many alcohol in the blood! but really got to enjoy before school startsssssss.

recently, i found that my timetable is totally screwed up! i sleep at around 3am and wake up and crawl to work at around 12pm! of course my meals are also affected. always have brunch instead of breakfast and lunch and my dinner are always as early as 6? and by 10pm, i will be hungry again.

damn!! just to need focus and get everything back on track! school is starting in 2 weeks time and i need to schedule my time properly!

this week is like totally a gathering and meet up week!

tue was like totally late for this programme installation in great eastern. and at night meet up a new friend! went ikea for meatballs! wings! and coldwater prawn! *more like shrimps!*

and wed i intend not to go back office! instead, i went Kbox with my secondary school friends. after kbox and the ladies left, tristan, marcus and i had dinner at mac and a HTHT session at alley bar. had a really really intensive HTHT till we needa go rebel to club it out!

thurs was again late for my general insurance product training -_- and then went for salsa dance! i just love dance but couldnt find time to practise more. after salsa rush down to bugis to meet up my awesome orientation camp friends! had mutubak and the last airbender with them.

then on friday, had an outing with my great eastern colleagues. went to the very beautiful place, hortpark for like a 2.5km walk then dine near there. some pics taken from blackberry phone. it sucks and makes me wana buy a cam!

then sat was my poly friends gathering! L4D2 then mindscafe then an impromptu sing k session till 2am! just wonderful!

then just now, went soccer! realise more cui i am. run around the court for like 10min and i shag out! panting like a freak! damn! need to start an healthy lifestyle!

i just want every of my week to be like this! =D

sunday, totally at home mugging my commercial general insurance! Is my last exam and i am able to provide quality service on general insurance! haha! but, is really tiring! haven't been studying for like the past 2 years, or maybe 5years (cos i dont think in my poly i really study anything!) and mug a whole sunday is boring and tiring!!!

and i PASSED! was late for my exams though =x

now, i am thinking whether i want to take a step forward to pursue M8 certificate - which is on collective investment and unit trust. Or maybe take up property! but of course, my studies is more important! UOL, oh noooooo~

had meeting with my mentor. share with him regarding my interest level in my insurance career. yes, i must agree that i kinda lost interest already due to the lack of motivation and some external factors. sometimes, i seriously doubting myself whether is this the job cos commitment level is high but results are not what you are expecting for.

oh nvm! i will still give myself the next 2-3yrs...

thursday, was my first ever roadshow held at suntec near food republic. went there late and forget to bring my balls. its my worst every feeling. standing there for 5hours without the courage to approach ppl. i am doubting whether this career suits me not. later, went to meet my secondary school friends to chill! they totally make my day.

yesterday, no better. went for meeting LATE because i met onto an accident. yes. accident! the bus cannot brake on time and knocked onto the back of the lorry. luckily nobody is injured. the meeting just suck ttm! bombarding me questions on why i never hit target, activities too low and why never call my friends. honestly, i hate the feeling of calling my friends! is like an irritating guy disturbing them. to the friends that i have called and try to make appointments, i am sorry. is my job...

after the meeting, went to meet up my secondary school friends to dine at vivo sky garden or something and then went for L4D! just awesome to be with them!

now, i am preparing for my roadshow again... hopefully this time i will remember to bring my balls.

It has been almost a year plus since a blog something interesting

Many eventful stuffs happen this one year. Many.

I went India and Australia for my trainings. It was tough but memorable. Its the tough times that bond all my army buddies together. All fighting for the same goal - that is to chao keng. The rest and relax days we had in oversea were totally awesome - making ppl drunk, visiting Taj Mahal, fooling around and strip clubs? Now, ORDed, life is back to normal. Sleep late, wake up late. To think back, my 1yr 10mths of army passed by super fast. I enjoyed and will always remember my army days.

I also broke up with my girlfriend during this one year. The feeling was terrible and of course, sad. But i must really thank her during the 2yrs 6mths of relationship for the things she did to me - encouragement after setbacks, companion without fail everytime i booked out/in, those late night calls of concern everyday and many more. Once again, thank you and wish you the best.

I also realise that i had many good friends around me - army buddies, poly friends, secondary sch friends. They all supported and cheered me up during the break up time. Thus, i recover from it pretty fast.

This one year, i have made some big life changing decision. And that is to give up my childhood passion - science to do something that has better opportunities and pay. I decided to enter into business path since i also like to do business. I took up econs and management in SIM UOL. I also took up insurance as my career. Now, i am an insurance agent providing service in life and general insurance! I hope in a few years down the road, I will not regret this decision.

Now, I am embarking on a new journey - my university life. Perhaps this will be the last time I am going to be a student. I must totally enjoy it and work hard for my degree!

Recently, I joined the orientation day, camp and the bash. It was totally awesome meeting awesome friends! Hopefully there will be more of such events coming along to spice up my uni life!

had a brief 10th month celebration.

it has been a month since i blog.
and for the game, God of War, i can say i completed the game accept the last part =x

the boss is a cheater. she is like immortal.
life and armour damn thick.

A meaningful story...

My mom only had one eye. I hated her.
she was such an embarrassment. She cooked for students & teachers to support the family.

There was this one day during elementary school where my mom came to say hello to me. I was so embarrassed. How could she do this to me? I ignored her, threw her a hateful look and ran out. The next day at school one of my classmates said, 'EEEE, your mom only has one eye!' I wanted to bury myself. I also wanted my mom to just disappear. I confronted her that day and said, ' If you're only goanna make me a laughing stock, why don't you just die?'
My mom did not respond...

I didn't even stop to think for a second about what I had said,
because I was full of anger.

I was oblivious to her feelings.

I wanted out of that house, and have nothing to do with her.
So I studied real hard, got a chance to go abroad to study.

Then, I got married.
I bought a house of my own.
I had kids of my own.
I was happy with my life, my kids and the comforts.

Then one day, my mother came to visit me.
She hadn't seen me in years and she didn't even meet her grandchildren.

FYP poster presentation was quite smooth

the assessors were not as strict as we thought

after getting all six assessors signatures

we sighed a great relief

FREEDOM!!

now, all i left is 2 tests and 8 more lessons

and i will be graduating!!

after FYP presentation,

i immediately went to look for darling.

she stunned me with her makeup. lol =x

both of us wore formal wear. lol.

we sort of celebrate the end of FYP cum our 5th month

and off we went to amk hub to eat pepperlunch. lol.

ok la. first time eatting. quite nice.

went to the arcade played one round of time crisis and took neoprint.

my third time taking neoprint. lol.

quite experience with the machine liao.

know how to pose and act in the pictures. lol

also upgrade my standard of drawing some cute things onto the photos. lol

after that, we headed down to the airport.

and met FIRDAUS sia! small world.

we went from T3 to T2 to T1. took the sky train.

we spent like 4 hours in the airport. one hour for each terminal. lol.

time passed damn fast that day.

and the remaining one hour, we had our dinner at popeyes.

only that mashed potota was nice.

had my camp instructor training today.

the job is recommended by renz

the training was held in a campsite which is at jln bahtera there. some ulu place located in lim chu kang.

i used to camp there before during my primary 5 camp.

but there was transportation to there that time.

now, i gotta find myself to the campsite.

at first meeting renz and his clique then go there. but because i am late slightly, they zhao liao.

gotta go there alone with only a little information on how to get there

but lucky enough, i saw 3 guys at the bus stop who were going to there too.

all jc graudates waiting for enlistment.

they were like me, first time going there for job training.

so we took the bus chit chat then alight at the stop 'aft jln bahtera'

we saw some entrance near the bus stop and we just walked in.

not knowing where it is heading to.

but i noticed that there is a signboard on the gate that said 'protected zone' and the picture that showed an infantry pointing rifle at someone.

but i just followed the group of jc guys.

while walking, we saw some military tanks, jeeps and combact training.

we heard a firing sound from the tank too.

so cool la. lol.

we walked like 1km plus and we came to a dead end.

the construction worker told us that this is not the place to the campsite. it shd be further down from the bus stop.

why? cos having class chalet.
but before class chalet, dear and I went to underwater world =)
taken in toa payoh mrt station.
setting off to sentosa! once there, when we walked pass the siloso beach,
i paused, squatted down and wrote something for my dear.UNDERWATER WORLD

ok. this is damn cool la. is a 4 to 6 wks egg lay by some kind of shark

you can actually see the bady shark in the egg 'swimming'.this one also. this one called dunnoe wat angel fish ah.

forgotten.

damn small and is an evolution from snail family.

live at 2 degree celsius wor.some big fishthis one not plant.

this one is crab.

sound crappy? but it is true. observe carefully. =) JAWS! ok. stingrays. the scale of the stingrays is damn smooth la.

thought that it will be scaley that kind. maybe because from the perception from BBQ stingrays with sambal. feeding time for stingrays.

dear was so happily feeding them.

the stingrays showed their gratitude by actually splashing water at us -.-

it was fun feeding the stingraysthis one professional diver feeding the big fish. lol.

bought keychain from there. just to have some sweet memories whenever we looked back.

then off we head to the dolphin lagoon.

31 aug - science month.
our FYP chocolate project was displayed for science month!! yeap!! =D
so we gotta go down to do a presentation cum demostration and tell more about the functional chocolates.
the event held at marina there. and i stay at toa payoh. so i tot i can take my own sweet time to get down there. thinking that i will still be the first one to arrive.
to my surprise, when i got down there, i saw ALL my teammates ready le!!
and wat worst, because i am the latest to arrive, i gotta present to the PUBLIC!!!!!
oh man. i start to get so nervous la. like from 1030am nervous till our presentation cum demostration start which is like at 130pm!!!

ok, i had decided long ago to consult doctor for my NEVER-STOP-GROWING pimples.
so this morning, went Mount A. hospital to go check up.
the doctor examined and told me:
'u need to apply this cream in the morning'
'ok'
'u need this cream for night time' pointing to a new one.
'ok'
'lastly, u need to take 1 month of antibiotics'
-pause-
'WAT?!!?!?! take 1 month of antibiotics?!?!!?!'
'yes. 1 month. at first is 2 months one but i think your pimples/ acne not very serious so 1 month'
i was thinking. 1 month of antibiotics can die liao le la. still 2 months.
the doc told me this antibiotics can 'kill' 60%-70% of the pimples in the face. i there gave him a woah-your-medicine-very-strong face.
lucky, the antibiotic is 100mg only, take 2 times so is 200mg per day, not very strong.
if not ah, peng sia. liver damage hair drop.

met dear after consultation.
i showed her the antibiotics she there 'WAH!' lol.

yesterday, loooooong and tiring day.

met dear for lunch before going for my workshop.

the workshop we conducted was totally ... boring~~~
is a last minute workshop that we had to conduct
is about the preparation for the science month held in the marina.
we gotta teach them making brownies, ice cream and chocolate. well, for me, i taught them making chocolate.
look!
when students were ultimately bored, they blew the gloves, tied into a doll shape and used chocolate to paint the doll!!! lol. yawnss ....well, after my workshop, go for my work.
since i reached my work place like 40min early, i decided to lock the door and used one of the table to sleep.
however, like after 25min, i heard some voices beside me
'Mr Tan, you sleeping ah?'
i opened my eyes and wah!!! my student caught me sleeping on the table!!!! i so tio stunned till i fell off from the table.
BANG!
i landed with my left knee followed by my left toes.
result: left knee very loose right now and sprained tio 3 left toes. at first, i thought is like tt nia, but today i check, i realise my ankle oso tio sprained. lol. now my left leg is like 10 degree towards the right liao. wahahaha!
lesson learn: please lock and double check the door is locked properly before sleeping. cos i realise i din lock the door properly -.- pengs.

Recently, out class is crazy about this game: it is like every single day we are playing RISK. lol

Went to Chocz chocolate making workshop with FYP team including our supervisor today.
the workshop cost $25 each but our very kind supervisor actually help all of us paid. like wah, including herself, she would have to spend like $150 liao.
Chocz at marina square.this is our speaker. well, the environment there is really loud and the speaker speak damn soft la~ i think the microphone need to change ah. as a result, i was kinda bored there but cannot doze off cos supervisor there sia. like she paid for the workshop and i down there sleeping.
but shaun and sherline most zai one. bored? they there playing 'ji ko ba'. lol.yesyes! gingerbread man! wahahaha! below picture, not the on top one.

they gave us a plain ginger bread man and we gotta decorate it =DD
also, we did moulding of figurines =DDthen went to Jack's place for lunch.

so peiseh sia. at that moment everyone of us like STUNS. lol.
like the workshop she spend $150 plus the meal which cost about $100 total $250 liao leh.
so intend to pay her the bill on monday. hopefully she accept it. well, we are very lucky to have her as our supervisor =)

cos remember the previous post, the silver red machine? yea. tt machine's roller actually break into two pieces. look~. i am carrying a half of the roller.
so sad la. =(this machine cost about 3k and is very important in the process of making chocolate.

this silver red machine needs to be cleaned before we can use it. you know, we have to be very clean and make sure our food is not contaminated.
and my duty is to clean this machine! -.- first time clean this machine took like 30min, now pro liao. 8min can settle liao.

lab session today for bioprocess - yay!
topic for bioprocess? okok lor. bit sians.
everytime when bioprocess got lab session, means need to wear hair net. i hate it most la. spoil and flatten my hairstyle only. grr.
and sometimes, can drive students mad too. look at the two ermmmm errr. wahaha! handled those equipments for our experiment today.
wah! those equipments chim stuff. super chim ah.
dare not play with it. cos the looks of the equipments tell me once spoil, mean my $$$$$ also gone.

i totally hate my laptop.
damn bloody lag.
worst, lag for no reason. din open much program and it lags. wth.
and when lag, the fan inside run super fast and start to make stupid bth noise which irritates me and the keyboard become very hot. grr.

went job training on how to teach kids intermediate program.
dun go for the training = i tio sacked = no income.
went with yikai for the training.
and during the training, i was thinking. woah. the intermediate program for the kids is so difficult la. i think they will complain alot.
after training. yikai had his promotion assessment. and he pass! woot~! congrat! higher pay now. haha. *ahem* must treat me something ah *ahem* lol

then went lunch with Fel.
Fel not working. tt is good for her. more rest.
but instead, go give tuition at yio chu kang. so decided to go amk hub to walk around till time is up.

went blood screening for Hep A and B yesterday.
got to do this screening cos i am taking heamatology module next sem.

bit nervous. not because i am scare of the needle but because of my peers nervousness then spread to me and partly i am scare of blood too.

kinda lame. scare of blood still take heamatology -.-

can see white spotSS inside the tube. first one to draw blood.

and naturally my face become this pattern. lol.this nurse skilled sia. Fel's turn.but when is shifu turn the nurse not skill liao.

after school play soccer.

sport complex change alot. soccer was ... ok la. scored goals but all tyco one. quite happy with it. at least each match can score goal =)

Need a BIG break after a stressful poster presentation.

so when out with Fel and pinky to watch harry potter yesterday.

the show was ... ok la. quite nice. like the part when the death eaters and order of the phoenix casting spells at each other and then sirius tio killing curse then die. so suay sia.

before watching the movie went to do some shopping. but in the end dint get anything.

then head down to suntec for the dunnoe what exhibition. more of like prompting health awareness.

the reason why we went for such exhibition is to learn more about the LASIK. some laser shoot into eye then ok liao that thingy.

found out that the whole surgery cost 4K plus. wth la~

had a lot of fun and laughter. but happy moments passed very quickly. just like that *snap* and one whole day is gone =(

then today. damn sian. bioprocess was like errrr.
